| Rusty Fleming on Grand Lake, Oklahoma
This guy has been a Grand Laker since 1970 and became a full time resident in 1981. Along with Lynda Fleming and Art & Oleta Corely, he founded The Chronicle of Grand Lake in 1988. He served as the publication's publisher until its sale to Brian & Sue Ruth in 2004. Since that time, he been active with the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, the Grand Grand Lake Waterwatch Program, the planned Visitor's Center in Langley and three years ago formed Grand Lakers United Enterprise (GLUE) to represent the interests of moderate thinking Grand Lakers. |

Grand Lake Area Robotics Education (GLARE) is a nonprofit 501c3 organization whose purpose is to provide educational facilities and support for our local Robotics teams that is not available within the school system. Glare focuses on robotics teams active in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics program. The GLARE facility provides a unique, extracurricular, hands on environment that educates and develops student's skills in design, engineering, manufacturing, web design, multimedia and general business. |
