Five years ago, we managed to squeeze in one small musical act just in the nick of time. We are now rapidly becoming known for our bluegrass and Okie musical talents. Black Buggy Day has been the site of some pretty awesome Christian, Bluegrass, Country and Western Swing music from the talents of bands right here in Mayes County and as far away as OKC and Missouri. |

Mayes County Amateur Radio Club is located in N.E. Oklahoma. Our meetings are held the last Friday of the month at 7:00pm in the Chouteau Community Center. Talk in is on the 147.060+ (pl 88.5) repeater. Our net is held on Thursday nights at 7pm and is hosted by George Irvin, AC5JV. The MCARC Road Crew volunteers to help with communications at various community events. |
