The Monkey Island J. Weber Lending Library was created with book donations from our community. We continue to accept donations. It is a lending library, so check out is easy; just record your name, the title of the book(s), and the date. There are no library cards or due dates. Return the books whenever you finish with them. The library has a great assortment of books for all ages. Adult books include many novels from numerous popular authors. The J. Weber Lending Library is now located at Port of Entry, just south of Littlefield's at highways 85A and 125 on Monkey Island, OK. Hours are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 11:00AM - 4:00PM. |

Whilst an electric utility company was incorporated, the lake was not actually constructed until 1938, when construction of Pensacola Dam on the Grand River began as a Works Progress Administration project. The dam was completed in 1940, creating the lake behind it. |
