| The Cayuga Mission Church
In 1886, Mathias Splitlog began constructing a church of local hewn limestone for his wife, Eliza Splitlog. Today, the Cayuga Mission Church is the only church in Oklahoma, and perhaps in the U.S., which was built by a Native American with his own funds for the religious use of all people. The inside is embellished with beautifully hand-carved imported wood, and 15 stones, each carved with an Indian symbol, form the arched doorway. |

Massive Moai: Oklahoma -- For some reason, moai statues have a way of cropping up in the most unlikely and random places. One of these is the Moai that overlooks Courtyard Hollow, a small part of the Great Lake o' the Cherokees, in Grove, Oklahoma. SilverLine posted the above postcard, which probably dates from the late '60s, on Tiki Central, which is labeled The Suttles' Tiki Point, Located on Lake Road #6, Grove Oklahoma, and tikijackelope and ZuluMagoo dug in to find what could be learned about it. Sure enough, the fellow is still there. |

| Trail & Hay Rides
Trail rides are offered every day except for Tuesday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Easter Sunday. Reservations are required and it takes a minimum of two people to make a reservation. If you are a single and would like to take a trail ride,we would be happy to add you to another reservation. Children need to be a minimum of 4 years old and ride on a pony which is led by the trail guide. We do not allow riding double. Twin Bridges State Park is known for its excellent fishing as well as its quiet country atmosphere. A year round fisherman's haven awaits with trophy-sized bass, catfish, bluegill or spoonbill. A fishing center with bait and tackle, fuel, snacks and enclosed fishing dock is located within the park. Two lighted boat ramps, picnic facilities, campgrounds, lake huts, playgrounds, volleyball court and horseshoe pits are also available. Picnic facilities include 92 tables, 9 individual shelters and 5 group picnic shelters for larger get-togethers. Campsites range from 63 semi-modern RV sites with water and electric hookups to 100 regular sites for tent camping. There are 6 comfort stations of which 5 have showers.
