The GLARE facility is designed to provide an experience that inspires and excites students. The GLARE facility provides the space and equipment so that mentors can share their skills and knowledge to help develops students' skills in design, engineering, manufacturing, logic programming, electronics, multimedia and general business.
Student and mentor interaction and collaboration within this environment helps students strengthen their confidence, skills, and character while also providing mentors the opportunities to share their technical expertise while working side-by-side with students.
Our primary focus is supporting robotics teams involved in FIRST robotics competitions. However, we also support various STEM activities in the community and support teams involved in other robotics competitions from time-to-time.
GLARE Funding GLARE is a 100% volunteer and mentor based organization. We are funded entirely through individual donations, corporate donations, grants and student-led fundraising activities.
