Sailboat Bridge Project - segmental - Bridge
The Sailboat Bridge is a replacement to the existing bridge,which was constructed in 1937 over the Grand Lake O' Cherokees,in Grove,Oklahoma. The new bridge is a twin,precast segmental bridge with an over all length of 3,045 ft. The typical span length will be 122 ft. and will be constructed in the span-by-span erection method. The bridge will have a vertical clearance of 52 ft.,opening the northern end of the lake to nautical vessels. Completion Date: May 2001
