Location:

On the shores of Grand Lake 'O The Cherokees, in the city limits of Grove, OK, just off Highway 59. Turn on State Park Road located between the 7 Eleven and Dairy Queen.

History

The park is approximately 38 acres and with its full bloom of  Dogwood and Redbud trees, is especially beautiful in the  spring. The park offers excellent fishing opportunities for bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill and spoonbill. The park is open year-round. For more information call 918-786-9447.

All three areas make up the Cherokee State Parks with a total of 50 acres  of picnicking, camping, electric hookups, boat ramps, swimming beaches, shelters and playground.

Located one mile south of Tiajuana off SH28, covers 6.8 acres close to the Cherokee State Parks. Disney State Park is located by the flood gates of the Pensacola Dam. Popular for bass fishing and watersports, and offers picnic areas, lighted boat ramp, group picnic shelter, playground, and tent camping sites.

The southeast shoreline area of Grand Lake O' the Cherokees is the scenic location for this 2 park area. Extremely popular for its wealth of recreational activities and its abundant fishing opportunities, 46,300 acre Grand Lake is one of northeast Oklahoma's most popular vacation destinations. DISNEY STATE PARK area, one block east of the town of Disney, is located by the flood gates of the magnificent Pensacola Dam. With the only boat ramp in the area, 20 acre Disney State Park is a popular site for bass fishing tournaments (as well as all watersports), and offers picnic areas, a group picnic shelter, a small playground, a lighted boat ramp, and 45 tent/outdoor camping sites. The 12 1/2 acre LITTLE BLUE STATE PARK is located below the spillway, another fine fishing site as no large motors are allowed, only fishing boats with small trolling motors. There are a few picnic areas and 35 tent/outdoor campsites available. Both are excellent locations for the avid fisherman.
