Looking for family friendly campgrounds/resort.  Would like your recommendations for a campground w/ bank fishing, kids activities, RV accommodations, shade, pool (preferred).  We will not be doing water sports or boating so resorts are a plus.  Was wondering about Pine Island but was told the Grove/Monkey Island areas were prime camping areas.  Please let me know if you know of a great spot for us, we do not want to waste a day driving around looking for it.  This will be our first time to Grand Lake.
There are not many reviews on campgrounds and pictures on websites are often vague.  Thank you for your help.  Leaving in 2 weeks.

Welcome spyglassnews,
 Welcome to Grand Lake Links.
Make yourself at home.  8-)

There are a lot of resorts in the area.
 pine island
does appear to have a lot of things.
The map shows a Zena location and is off the main part of the lake on the backside of the developed area.

Pine Island appears to be a membership park.
There are a few membership parks that may have a deal
for the weekend or something.
Many are really good deals and have a lot of things to do.

There is Bear's Den
Right by the Cherokee Queen outside of Grove as a reference map location.

Grove does have more things right close in ...
Keep in mind Grand Lake is 66 miles long with over 1300
miles of shoreline. Location might be just your starting point.
